For Expo 2015, a camouflage system was devised for the monoblocks set up for the ticket offices at the three entrances to the exhibition area.
The project was solved by covering the surface of the prefabricated structures with a composite material based on cement and wood fibre, on which silhouettes were cut out in correspondence with the individual ticket sales points.
The templates have different shapes and are inspired by the Expo 2015 logo: in particular the alphabetical letters and numbers that make it up. Each letter has been broken down into its parts to arrive at a geometric reduction from which the primary shapes of the circle, square and triangle, as well as the rectangle and semicircle, have emerged.
The project gave rise to an original iconic system, without the need to decline the logotype but simply evoking it in its main features.
