Fotografia Anonima is a publication by Fabio Castelli, published by Seipersei, exploring the growing cultural and collecting interest in anonymous photography. Conceived as an open contribution to the debate on vernacular photography, the book combines historical research, critical reflection, a glossary of key terms, and a curated selection of images accompanied by evaluation criteria provided by galleries and collectors.
Dondina Associati developed the editorial design of the volume, conceived as a Swiss-bound book containing a folded manifesto at its core. The graphic project reflects the publication’s focus on photographic memory and material culture through a series of recurring visual elements inspired by analogue film processes. A black offset-printed cover and an archival-inspired visual language create a dialogue between the material nature of photography and the book’s dual role as both manifesto and research tool.
