Gabbianelli. Ceramica, Arte, Design is the first publication dedicated to the visual and decorative heritage of Gabbianelli, the Italian ceramic company founded in 1939 that became a platform for experimentation between art, design, and industry.

Dondina Associati developed the graphic design of the volume and curated the selection of historical iconographic materials, bringing together photographs, catalogues, archival documents, and artworks to reconstruct the company’s innovative history through a rich visual narrative. The book also includes an essay by Francesco Dondina exploring the role of graphic designers and art directors within Gabbianelli’s creative development.

The volume is structured in two parts: the first retraces the company’s history and its collaborations with leading figures of Italian design culture, while the second presents an atlas organised into art, design, and objects, further divided by artist, designer, and architect. The editorial design combines historical research with a clear visual framework, supporting both narrative reading and archival consultation.
